Starry night

Is there a shining star
In the boulevard of oblivion

With fire in Its soul
And dust in its
eyes–

Does it have wings to peek
Through the attic's window?

To watch the night collapse into itself;
Made and remade
Until it starts to wander
Like a shadow
Or a hollow star.

But a star,
Like all stars spread their wings
Shall fall for the night
To find it's way
Back home.
