Ghost

He's my drug, my addictive drug,
Each and every of my sins has been for him.
At night, you and me have sprung,
across the river's edge, in the brim.

And then, it was thrown away,
tossed into the black with no trace.
And as I can observe today,
I only use his words with a past tense.

As the murk overtakes,
All the silences break,
All my good will's washed away.
As there's no voice around,
And the flame dies down,
He almost gets me, and I'm lost.
Though I can't blame him –
He's a ghost.

It's like giving the devil a bribe,
With no attend to escape.
And why? It's hard to describe,
It feels like I am trapped.

And now it's too late for both of us,
It makes me be so blind.
And there's no chance,
I'm stuck in the limbo state of mind.

As the murk overtakes,
All the silences break,
All my good will's washed away.
As there's no voice around,
And the flame dies down,
He almost gets me, and I'm lost.
Though I can't blame him –
He's a ghost.
